Zibaa Adil joined the BCI Sacramento Office in January 2025 as a Market Development Assistant after interning with the Market Development team over three previous grant writing seasons and supporting the Research & Information Unit in a part-time role. As a Market Development Assistant, Zibaa's work includes market research, grant writing and reporting, and client engagement.
Raised in the Bay Area of California, Zibaa graduated with honors from the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA), with a degree in International Development Studies and a minor in European Languages and Transcultural Studies with a French focus. During her undergraduate studies, Zibaa interned with a refugee aid organization in Paris as part of a study abroad program, and completed two theses, exploring issues of familial precarious migration as well as European migration policy's impact on the case of Ivorian migration. Outside of her studies and professional work, Zibaa is passionate about language learning, teaching, and preservation, with proficiency in Uyghur and French.
