Kasey Cruz

About

Kasey Cruz joined BCI's Seattle office in September 2022 as a Research Analyst on the Research and Information Services team, and was promoted to Research Manager in July 2026. In this role, she oversees BCI's data analysis services, giving clients clear, actionable visibility into complex regulatory and trade information, and leads the team's sustainability-related projects. Kasey also plays a key role in producing BCI's regulatory newsletter, the BCI Monitor, and supports the firm's trade regulatory databases. Along with a background in international development and sustainability that informs her approach to global regulatory issues, she brings to the team strong analytical expertise and project management skills.

Prior to joining BCI, Kasey interned at the International Rescue Committee (IRC), working with their New Roots youth food justice program, and at InPlace: Ecocultural Learning Institute, researching sustainable development initiatives in Vietnam.

Kasey holds a Master's degree in International Development Studies from the London School of Economics and Political Science and a Bachelor's degree in Global Justice and Sustainability, with minors in Economics, International Studies, and Japanese, from Western Washington University. As an undergraduate, she participated in a research study abroad program in Italy and also studied at Tokyo International University in Japan.
