Kasey Cruz joined BCI’s Seattle office in September 2022 as a member of the Research and Information Services team. She primarily contributes to the weekly BCI Monitor, a customized regulatory newsletter for BCI clients, and helps maintain BCI’s customized trade regulation databases.
Prior to joining BCI, Kasey interned at the International Rescue Committee, working with their New Roots community garden and food access program, and at InPlace: Ecocultural Learning
Institute, researching sustainable development initiatives in Vietnam.
Kasey graduated magna cum laude from Western Washington University and holds a Bachelor’s degree in Global Justice and Sustainability, with minors in Economics, International Studies, and Japanese. As an undergraduate, she participated in a research study abroad program in Italy and also studied at Tokyo International University in Japan. Afterward, she moved to the United Kingdom and completed her MSc in International Development Studies at the London School of Economics and Political Science.Back to all people
