Elise Benson joined BCI's Seattle office in December 2023 as a Financial and Grant Management Assistant, and was promoted to Manager, Financial Systems in January 2026.
Originally from Maryland, Elise earned her Bachelor of Arts in Economics and International Studies, with a minor in Japanese, from the University of Washington in Seattle. During her time at UW, she interned as a grant analyst at a nonprofit organization, where she supported the evaluation of grant applications for international development projects. She also served as the project manager for a large-scale research initiative in Oregon, leading a team that analyzed more than 900 government records and produced a comprehensive 30-page report and formal presentation.
