Aya Stockton joined Bryant Christie's Seattle office in August 2024 as a Trade Policy Analyst. As part of the firm's Global Access team, Aya works to monitor and analyze foreign pesticide regulatory policies and MRL systems around the world, and identify the effects they may have on U.S. agricultural exports.
Prior to joining BCI, Aya worked as a logistics operations supervisor for a Bellevue-based exporter of agricultural products. She mainly handled export shipments of oranges, table grapes, cherries, and kiwifruits from California to the clients in Japan and Korea. Working closely with suppliers and logistics providers, she managed shipments from the time of loading through the final delivery to the clients. She was also responsible for compiling export documentation and managing client relationships.
Originally from Japan, Aya graduated from Western Washington University and earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Communications with a minor in Business.
