Vice President, Marketing and Business Development
Alicia Adler rejoined Bryant Christie Inc. in August 2022 as Vice President of Marketing and Business Development. In her role, she leads the company’s efforts in identifying new business opportunities and implementing growth strategies across the business units – Global Access, Market Development, and Research and Information Services. She also leads technical research programs on behalf of several U.S. agricultural industries.
Alicia most recently served as Vice President of Global Business Development for the North American Blueberry Council (NABC) and the U.S. Highbush Blueberry Council (USHBC), a Federal Research and Promotion Program. She developed new global market opportunities for industry stakeholders by leading results-oriented programs around the world. Specifically, Alicia led the first-ever USA Blueberries promotion in China, created an R&D Advisory Board to better inform ingredient channel marketing, and initiated research that addressed technical barriers to trade.
While at USHBC, Alicia’s expertise and strategic approach to pursuing external funding sources to supplement existing industry funds helped grow programs substantially and increase export value of U.S. highbush blueberries by 20%.
Prior to her work in the blueberry industry, Alicia worked at Bryant Christie Inc., where she managed a staff of six within the Market Development business unit and developed and executed B2B and B2C marketing programs on behalf of specialty crop industries, including cherry, pear, stone fruit, cling peach, and tomato growers. Over the course of her six years at BCI, she secured over $10 million in state and federal grant funding for the firm’s clients.Back to all people
