Last week, BCI's Will Callis represented The US APPLE EXPORT COUNCIL (USAEC) at the annual ASIA FRUIT LOGISTICA trade show.
This year brought forth an exciting opportunity for the industry as it was the first year the show was able to be held in Hong Kong after the COVID-19 pandemic. This gave USAEC the opportunity to meet with importers from around Southeast Asia, which is a growing regional market for several East Coast apple shippers.
Over the span of almost four years, BCI has overseen the operations of the U.S. Apple Export Council, including its global promotional program. BCI's team of market development managers lead both incoming and outgoing trade missions, execute strategic marketing campaigns, and communicate leads and sales opportunities to USAEC members.
