BCI was pleased to attend the Canadian Produce Marketing Association (CPMA) Convention & Trade Show in Toronto and the SIAL Canada Trade Show in Montreal, Canada from April 28-30. By organizing participation in these shows, BCI helped California Pear Advisory Board members strengthen relationships with Canadian buyers and key industry stakeholders.
In Toronto, the group attended the CPMA Trade Show opening reception to network with produce leaders before conducting retail tours to gain on-the-ground insights into Canadian grocery trends. The mission then transitioned to Montreal for the SIAL Canada show, where the group met with USDA Foreign Agricultural Service (FAS) Canada staff, including Ag Attaché Dan Archibald and Marketing Specialist Aurela Delibashi, at the USDA pavilion to discuss market dynamics and further solidify industry connections with the FAS post.
BCI is proud to provide the strategic organization and in-market support necessary to help U.S. specialty crop organizations expand their global footprint and build lasting international partnerships.
