Bryant Christie Inc. was delighted to welcome global trade experts, agricultural leaders, and government officials to our Sacramento office last night for a reception ahead of the 2026 MRL Harmonization Workshop. It was a fantastic evening of networking and collaboration as we set the stage for an impactful week ahead.
The annual workshop, hosted by the California Specialty Crops Council, serves as a critical forum to address global trends in international Maximum Residue Limit (MRL) policies and regulations. We were especially honored to welcome California Secretary of Food and Agriculture Karen Ross, who joined BCI’s James C. Christie and Matt Lantz to welcome our guests. Attendees included key representatives from specialty crop industry associations, crop protection companies, the USDA, as well as the California Departments of Food and Agriculture and Pesticide Regulation.
Over the next two days, attendees will tackle complex regulatory barriers directly impacting market access for specialty crop exports. Thank you to everyone who joined us last night. Here’s to a great few days of advancing international trade standards!
