Ahead of the Fruit Logistica trade show in Berlin, Sarah had the opportunity to participate in the first in-person meeting of the Global Development Committee
Sarah Gelpi Hooker, BCI’s Director of Market Development, was recently selected to serve on the International Fresh Produce Association’s Global Development Committee, which seeks to identify expansion opportunities and priorities for the association and its diverse membership.
Ahead of the Fruit Logistica trade show this week in Berlin, Sarah had the opportunity to participate in the first in-person meeting of the Global Development Committee, as well as IFPA’s Executive Leadership Summit, alongside industry and IFPA leadership. These forums provided an excellent platform for leaders across the produce value chain to connect and discuss common issues concerning trade and market access, demand generation, food safety and regulatory affairs, talent development, and more.
