On Monday, November 6, BCI’s Vice President for Global Access Matt Lantz spoke to Association of Southeast Asia Nation (ASEAN) leaders about the impact EU pesticide policies may have on their ability to export to the continent. The meeting was held in Jakarta, Indonesia and was part of an ASEAN Food Systems Sustainability workshop sponsored by CropLife Asia and The EU-ASEAN Business Council.
Matt spoke for 30 minutes on a 2022 BCI impact study on this issue and then participated in a panel discussion with garnered significant feedback. In the audience were over 100 government officials from multiple Southeast Asian countries.
