BCI’s James Christie Attends Fruit Attraction Madrid 2025

In late September 2025, BCI President James Christie, traveled to Spain to attend the 2025 Fruit Attraction show in Madrid on behalf of the U.S. Apple Export Council (USAEC). The show is a significant one for the global fruit industry, offering participants the opportunity to connect with more than 120,000 professionals from around 150 countries.

James and the USAEC delegation spoke with importers, buyers, and other professionals from Latin America, Asia, the Middle East, Europe, and more. With these visitors, they discussed pertinent opportunities and topics such as regulatory issues, the increasing demand for organic and sustainable products, innovations in cold chain and logistics, and the growing importance of digital networking tools.
