Bryant Christie Market Development Manager Claire Little recently attended the International Fresh Produce Association (IFPA)’s Global Produce & Floral Show in Anaheim, California. The event attracted more than 3,500 buyers and 1,100 exhibiting companies from over 50 countries worldwide, providing an excellent platform to engage with industry leaders and gain valuable insights into the global produce market.
On behalf of the U.S. apple industry, Claire met with shippers to learn more about their operations and goals. She also had the opportunity to connect with many industry professionals including growers, chefs, buyers, exporters, marketers, tech innovators, or packagers. Speaker sessions throughout the show offered important takeaways on current market trends, regulatory hurdles, and new opportunities, both in the United States and abroad. Altogether, it was a great way to learn more about the evolving world of international produce, and BCI looks forward to utilizing the insights gained to assist our clients.
