Last week, BCI’s Thomas MacFadyen joined our Brewers Association partners at the Great American Beer Festival in Denver, Colorado, to support the Association’s export program trade mission.
This year’s mission brought together 10 craft beer importers from around the world and 30 U.S. craft beer exporters at Leavitt Pavilion. GABF gives these two groups a rare chance to meet face to face, at a scale that would otherwise take a lot of time and travel.
Trade missions are especially valuable for craft brewers. Every brewery and every beer is unique, so building relationships with importers takes individualized engagement. BCI works with the Brewers Association to develop these opportunities for its members, supporting everything from feasibility to grant compliance.
