Alinne Oliveira, deputy director for BCI's Global Access Team, provided insights on global trade issues facing the U.S. peanut industry as part of her presentation at the USA Peanut Congress on June 15 held in Amelia Island, Florida.
In addition to information on MRL issues impacting peanut exports, Alinne specifically addressed the EU Pesticide Policy framework and the proposed changes as a result of the Farm to Fork Strategy. With this information, U.S. peanut producers will be more prepared for any new challenges ahead, adapting to the changing regulatory environment and ensuring U.S. peanuts are able to continue thriving abroad.
