BCI Hosts Japanese Official for U.S. Potato Audit

BCI's Senior Trade Policy Specialist Adam Hollowell was out in Washington potato fields last week to coordinate and support a Japanese Government audit of U.S. potato exports to Japan. The audit is an annual requirement for Japan and is done to verify U.S. potato growers are in compliance with export requirements.

BCI lead organization of the audit on behalf of the U.S. potato industry, coordinated USDA and industry participation, supported preparations, and accompanied the Japanese and USDA delegation throughout the audit site visits.
