BCI Continues to Seek Increased Export Opportunities Through MRL Harmonization

On Thursday, May 22, BCI’s Matt Lantz and Alinne Oliveira (she/her) met with the Taiwan Food and Drug Administration (TFDA) in Taipei, Taiwan. Through the USDA Foreign Agricultural Service (FAS)'s Assisting Specialty Crop Exports program, BCI is working to seek additional pesticide residue standards in Taiwan. BCI discussed TFDA's anticipated applications for new Maximum Residue Levels and the best way to ensure that applications are successful once submitted. BCI appreciates the time dedicated to these meetings by TFDA and the American Institute of Taiwan (AIT).
