Will Callis, BCI Senior Market Development Manager and Executive Director of the U.S. Apple Export Council, conducted a trade mission in Colombia and the Dominican Republic. The delegation of eight East Coast apple exporters from Michigan, New York, and Pennsylvania visited multiple wholesale and retail establishments in both markets and participated in one-on-one and group meetings with major apple importers. All of the exporters noted that the trip was highly productive and foresee exports growing to both Latin American markets during the upcoming season.
For nearly four years, BCI has managed the U.S. Apple Export Council and implemented its international promotion strategy. BCI is uniquely skilled at organizing inbound and outbound trade missions and coordinates many across our client base each year.
