Shelby traveled to Berlin, Germany February 7-9 to attend the Fruit Logistica Trade Show on behalf of the U.S. Apple Export Council (USAEC). Fruit Logistica is one of the largest produce trade shows in Europe and is widely attended by trade members and service providers from Europe, the Middle East, India, and more.
Shelby attended the show along with Todd Sanders and Elise Oliver from the California Apple Commission, Diane Smith from the Michigan Apple Committee, Kari Soldaat and Don Armock from Riveridge Produce, as well as Iain Forbes, USAEC’s European Representative. Overall the show went well with lots of interest for USAEC apples from buyers in Europe, the Middle East, and India.
