On Thursday, BCI’s Matt Lantz and Adam Hollowell, joined the Cranberry Institute’s Bill Frantz for a meeting at the US Trade Representative’s office in Washington, DC. Bill, Matt, and Adam provided USTR with cranberry industry background and tariff and pesticide MRL priorities for upcoming trade talks. Both issues have a major impact on cranberry exports and a proactive trade agenda is needed to expand into new markets and keep mature markets open. BCI and the CI thank USTR for their time and engagement on these issues.
