Bryant Christie Inc. (BCI), an international affairs firm specializing in agricultural and food trade, is seeking a detail-oriented Bookkeeper / Accounting Manager to support the financial administration of client export market development programs. This role is heavily focused on day-to-day accounting and bookkeeping functions, including invoice processing, reconciliations, budgeting support, and financial reporting related to U.S. government grant programs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Invoice review and processing for compliance with U.S. government grant programs with an emphasis on international product promotion
- Management of invoice load and accounts payable to ensure timely payment
- Client and overseas vendor communication
- Contract preparation and budgeting
- Payment recording and bank statement reconciliation
- Reporting/report preparation on client financials
- Audit preparation and participation
- Other assignments as requested

College degree
Familiarity with spreadsheets, bookkeeping, and/or data analysis
Previous experience or familiarity with federal or state grants and financial compliance
Location: Seattle, Washington or Sacramento, California
BCI operates a hybrid model of partial in-office and remote working. Physical presence in the Seattle or Sacramento metropolitan area is required.
Salary Range: $65,000 - $80,000, based on skills and experience.
